Seven Dials Festival 30

On Saturday 29 June, Seven Dials marked the ultimate start to summer with Festival 30, a free one-day family festival celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic Sundial Pillar.

Seven Dials saw hundreds of people raise a glass and enjoy the sunshine in the vibrant district nestled between Covent Garden and Soho, to celebrate the landmark anniversary with everything from free sustainable crafting workshops, eco-friendly glitter makeovers, a silent disco and a complimentary drink from Monmouth Kitchen.

Delving into archive photography from the unveiling of the Sundial pillar in 1989, we created a visual identify for the event utilising playful photo collage, bold typography and a bright colour scheme. Through this we set out to capture the fun, energetic spirit of the 30th anniversary celebration with a healthy dose of nostalgia.
