World Ocean Day #PassOnPlastic 2018
As part of our corporate social and responsibility, Sister London worked with client Shaftesbury to support the launch of a brand-new London pop up in Carnaby, #PassOnPlastic by Project 0 and Sky Ocean Rescue, leading ocean conservation organisations, last June with the aim to inspire people to eliminate single use plastic.
Sister managed the launch and photo call of the initiative with 'Plasticus', the quarter tonne whale under the world famous Carnaby Street arch. The photo call was attended by Project 0 ambassadors and friends; Tyrone Wood, Jo Wood, HRH Princess Eugenie of York, Pixie Geldof, Jaime Winstone and Clara Paget.
A pop up exhibition and store opened the next day in celebration of #WorldOceansDay. Famous faces visited the pop up to make their plastic pledge including; Nick Grimshaw, Will Poulter, Alexa Chung and Bernard Fowler (The Rolling Stones) who signed copies of his album 'The Bura’ and surprise DJ sets from Jimmy Jagger and La Roux entertained the crowds.
