What We Did:
Inspired by the postal heritage of the Islington Square site, we developed the theme ‘The Christmas Sorting Office’, featuring a bespoke ‘North Pole Postbox’ where children could send their letters to Father Christmas. Overseeing everything from supplier and retailer coordination to the creation of all design assets.
We curated a series of complimentary workshops, including Christmas wreath-making and arts & crafts. Visitors enjoyed performances including live music and an exclusive appearance by the cast of The King’s Head Theatre’s pantomime. The retailers took part in many promotions, in-store events and activations.
Results:
Increasing footfall and revenue to the area, there was also significant digital growth achieved through our marketing strategy and led to a 216% increase in newsletter subscribers and an 80% boost in organic social media engagement during the campaign. By collaborating with a mix of micro and macro influencers, we achieved a reach of 1.2 million. Press coverage reached an audience of 32 million+.
Through strategic planning and engaging activations, Sister London transformed Islington Square into a must-visit Christmas destination, driving awareness, footfall, and community engagement.
