As part of English Tourism Week from the 14th to the 23rd March, the Sister Team have rounded up their top staycation spots in England. Whether you’re looking for a vibrant city break, charming coastal towns or peaceful countryside retreats, these are the ultimate spots for a relaxing getaway.
Rock, Cornwall – Phoebe, Digital Account Manager
A popular place for Hollywood A-listers to go for a bit of downtime, Rock is a hidden gem just on the other side of the Camel Estuary. Expect white sandy beaches, cute cafes selling ice cream and delicious sandwiches, surf shops and a couple of delicious restaurants.
Padstow, Cornwall – Chloe, Senior Account Director
Padstow is a picturesque fishing town on the Cornish coast, known for its charming harbour and stunning views over the Camel Estuary. With quaint stone cottages, winding streets and vibrant atmosphere, it perfectly blends traditional seaside charm with a thriving food scene. The town is especially famous for chef Rick Stein’s restaurant and cooking school, which attract food lovers from all over. While visiting, I took a four-day cooking course which included a morning out on a boat catching fresh fish to take back and cook in the kitchen. Just a short drive away is Harlyn Bay, a gorgeous sandy beach with rolling waves, perfect for coastal walks, a dip in the sea and catching the sunset.

The New Forest National Park, Hampshire – Meghan, Senior Account Director
The New Forest National Park is a breathtaking expanse of ancient woodlands, heathlands and picturesque villages in southern England. One of its most magical features is the free-roaming ponies, which have wandered the landscape for centuries. Whether you’re walking, cycling or simply driving through, spotting these beautiful creatures grazing or crossing the road is a truly special experience. The park’s tranquillity, diverse wildlife and rich history make it a perfect escape into nature.
The Peak District National Park, West Midlands & Yorkshire- Marianne, Designer
The Peak District is a national park famed for its limestone valleys and stepping stone trails. Less than an hour drive from my family home, it’s such a nice spot for me to visit and appreciate the scenic views and fresh air. I especially love all the purple flowers that make the landscapes even prettier.

Brixham, Devon – Sophie, Account Director
Brixham is a charming coastal town located in Devon, known for its picturesque harbour, vibrant fishing industry, and stunning views of the English Channel. Devon is a very special place for my sister and I as it’s somewhere we visited regularly with our grandparents whilst growing up. With its colorful cottages, narrow streets, and rich maritime history, Brixham offers a blend of traditional seaside charm and modern attractions.
