Taking PRIDE in our work

  • Events, Public Relations

As Pride Month winds down, we’re looking forward to one of the biggest celebrations still to come – the Pride in London parade this July…

Sister London is so pleased to be working with the lovely team behind The Big Gay Brunch as part of our commitment to CSR. Taking place in the beautiful gardens of The Actors’ Church – known formally as St Paul’s, Covent Garden, this brand-new event will kick off Parade Day in style – and it’s free!

On Saturday 5 July, the brunch is set to be the campest, funnest ‘village fete ever’ and a truly inclusive extravaganza at a historic venue that’s long been part of London’s theatre community and a welcoming space for all. When they told us they were planning a Pride brunch with drag, music, make-up artists, and much more, how could we refuse?

The epic lineup includes:

  • Drag cabaret by Le Gateau Chocolat
  • Live musical theatre choir belting camp classics
  • Cast members from the West End production of Magic Mike Live will be available for a red-carpet Instagram photo opportunity. (12–1pm)
  • Charlotte Tilbury artists for Pride-perfect looks
  • Brunch by All in A Box (pre-order or buy on the day)
  • Complimentary alcohol-free bar by Heineken 0.0 & Zeno Wines

It’s more than just a fabulous way to start Pride Saturday (though it will definitely be!), it’s about bringing together the theatre, performing arts, and LGBT communities together, and it means a lot to help spread the word and bring a little extra sparkle to the day.

As the team has promised…There will be joy, there will be community, there will be laughter, above all there will be PRIDE!
