Sister London‘s International Women’s Day campaign for Marylebone Village celebrated the inspirational female founders and entrepreneurs that make this independent shopping and dining destination special and unique.
The campaign objectives were to encourage footfall to Marylebone Village, delivering awareness to Marylebone Lane, increase sales and promote retailer offerings, support retailers and increase its digital footprint.

What we Did:
We implemented an impactful digital marketing campaign by partnering with BBC Radio London presenter and resident Jo Good to film a series of Instagram Reels. Jo visited and interviewed eight pioneering and talented female entrepreneurs based on Marylebone Lane to discover the stories behind their success.
A panel talk with ten business leaders was curated by us and hosted by Jo Good. Bringing together the network of the retailers and operators of Marylebone Lane, the concept was very much about celebrating female owned businesses. Talking points tapped into this year’s theme of #EmbraceEquality. Topics discussed included; balancing work with personal life, career advice, business milestones as well as challenges the female founders and pioneers have faced.
Results:
The event brought a new audience to the destination, with increased reach on across all social media platforms. The audience commented that they felt inspired and empowered by the fabulous stories shared by our panel speakers.
The Instagram Reel series saw an uplift of +320% impressions, +636% reach, leading to an increase of over 500 followers on the @marylebonevillage Instagram channel in one week.
