Making Nature Part of Wharf Life

Making Nature Part of Wharf Life

    Client: Canary Wharf Group

    Category: Design, Destination, Events

Sister London was appointed to create a groundbreaking advertising campaign and event activation, positioning Canary Wharf as an urban oasis where business, nature, and people thrive together. Our integrated approach introduced Eden Dock as a transformative public space, enhancing the way people experience the Wharf.

The objective was to engage existing audiences, attract new visitors and influencers, and establish Canary Wharf as a global leader in sustainability and innovation. The launch of Eden Dock was positioned as the most significant event in 2024 for the destination, reinforcing Canary Wharf’s identity as a vibrant, 24/7 city where nature and people coexist in harmony.

    What We Did:

We collaborated with Canary Wharf Group to develop the integral campaign strapline, ‘Making Nature Part of Wharf Life’. Our team crafted a campaign identity, visual style, and marketing materials for the flagship sustainability-focused launch of Eden Dock.

The advertising campaign launched with CGI imagery before transitioning to a photographic shoot featuring live models on-site. The campaign was rolled out across:

    •  Social media and digital platforms
    •  The Canary Wharf website and PR channels
    •  Out-of-home digital screens and newspaper print ads across London

To further bring the campaign to life, we were invited to pitch a creative launch installation—and were thrilled to win. Our winning concept, ‘Nature Rising’, featured a collection of 8-foot-tall human-like figures made entirely from real moss, sculpted in intricate detail and adorned with dried sustainable flowers. These striking figures symbolise the connection between people and nature, reinforcing the campaign’s message in the heart of Canary Wharf.
